1. DATES AND TIMES
March 3 - 6, 2004
The conference begins at 6 pm on Wed., Mar. 3 with a reception. There will be an evening session after the reception. Sessions will continue all day Thursday and Friday, and Saturday morning until noon.
2. CONFERENCE LOCATION

3. CONFERENCE FORMAT
The conference has a "Gordon Conference" format. All meeting sessions and meals will be at the Hotel. There will be time for extended interactions.
4. IMPORTANT DEADLINES
Deadline for contributed abstracts: Jan. 16, 2004
Deadline for hotel reservations: Jan. 27, 2004
Deadline for preregistration: Feb. 12, 2004
5. DIRECTIONS TO HOTEL
The easiest way to reach this hotel is to fly to John Wayne International Airport (SNA) in Orange County (Santa Ana), CA.

6. Transportation from airport
If you call the hotel in advance, they can arrange for a shuttle from either LAX or SNA to the hotel when your flight arrives. Taxi fare from SNA is $20-25. Taxi fare from LAX might be $50.
7. MEALS
A meal package is provided as part of the registration fee. Meals include a reception at 6 pm on Wednesday, Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner on Thursday and Friday, and Breakfast on Saturday.
8. COSTS
All attendees should make their hotel reservations directly with the hotel by Jan. 27, 2004
The average hotel room rate is approximately $125 per night plus 10% tax
Conference registration is $325. It may be paid on site or in advance to Erika Metz (949-824-4560, emetz@uci.edu, see pdf registration form). Registration fee includes meals (3 dinners, 2 lunches and 3 breakfasts) and snack and coffee breaks.
Companion registration, including all meals is $300. A partial meal package for companions can be arranged.

Invited talks are 50 minutes (40+10)
Contributed talks are 25 minutes (20+5)
